Locate the IP addresses for your personal computer’s Wi-Fi connection and for your Ethernet connection (if applicable) using the following steps:
Select Wi-Fi network bars icon on the taskbar.
Select the Wi-Fi network you’re connected to.
SelectProperties.
Under Properties,look for your IP address listed next to IPv4 address and IPv6 address.
Note the security type.
Note the MAC address.
Discuss what you discovered about your configuration in terms of your security type and differences between IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. What properties beside the IP addresses appeared? Was there anything you were surprised to see or not see?
